ASSIGNMENT PROCESSOR

Hi, I’m Jacqui! I began working for DisABLEd Workers in 2011. I started out as a Customer Service Rep, then was promoted to Assignment Processor in 2012 . I have a Secondary Education degree in History & Special Education.

I enjoy working at DisABLEd Workers because it is so rewarding to assist clients with discovering their goals, and then watch as they achieve those goals! I was in an accident in 2007, and lived off of my disability income for few years. I got the “cabin fever” feeling where I felt I had little to give back to society with my life. I dabbled in school, but really found my place at DisABLEd Workers. I went from feeling limited by my disabilities and income, to accomplishing little bits here and there until I was able to work full-time again.

Having a job truly helped with my mental health and confidence, compared to when I felt stuck living on my disability. I went from renting a tiny bedroom from family, to eventually buying a home of my own. I was blessed with a son in 2016. We are both learning how to garden in our spare time! I also have 2 fur babies, Joey & Lily. Music inspires me, and I especially like “Rise Up” by Andra Day.
