DisABLEd Workers has been my home since 2012. I enjoy working here because I like helping others achieve their goals and the people who work here are fun to be around and very good at what they do.

My educational background includes a BA in Communication Arts from Wartburg College and a Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa.

Prior to working at DisABLEd Workers, I was a Workforce Consultant helping clients achieve their educational and professional goals.

My favorite past-times are reading and almost anything outdoors. I like to read mainly non-fiction, but have been getting more into fiction recently. When the weather warms up I put down the books and head outside for a long walk, bike ride, or anything else just to enjoy God’s creation.

I was a TV news photographer for almost 25 years covering Super Bowls, presidential visits and many Iowa Hawkeye bowl games and NCAA basketball tournament trips.
